Can you copy a game? ✓

Sorry me again!

I was wondering if there was a way to copy the whole game over to a new game?

I make maths games and want to make very similar games but with harder questions for the higher ability kids. Can I just copy the game straight over some how or do I have to make it all again?

Hello
No, it's not possible to duplicate a whole game in one operation.
What you ca do is :
- create your new game (empty)
- connect to the source game
- duplicate all scenes and transfer them to the new game (this will duplicate and transfer all the objects they embed)
- if you have objects in the stock or in the initial inventory, clone them and transfer them to the new game.

It's not yet finished ...
- reconnect the new game
- recreate the same variables (if you have variables)
- recheck all interactions (use the game verificator) because they may still  refer to source objects  instead of cloned objects. In such case replace source object id by the cloned object id

So, it may be quicker to restart from the begining...

Ah I see thanks anyway. Yes may be easier to just make it again...
